What is the answer to 27 minus 7 and 1 over 5. I don't remember how to do it.

Apparently I need a little refresher. Please help

27 - 7 1/5

First recognize that 27 is the same as 26 5/5

Now, subtract the whole number parts separately from the fraction parts:
