Question about rounding

[From: ] [author: ] [Date: 12-04-13] [Hit: ]
Its a 3, so everything after 0.33 would round down to zero, and youre just left with 0.33.-rounded it is = 0.......
What would 0.3333 repeated be rounded of as?

(decimal rounded to the nearest hundredth as needed)

-
0.3333 after rounding to the nearest hundredth = 0.33

OR

you could say one-third or 1/3 you'll get the same answer...in my opinion it's a lot easier to say 1/3 that way you don't have to deal with decimals.

-
Look one digit to the right of the hundredth's place. It's a 3, so everything after 0.33 would round down to zero, and you're just left with 0.33.

-
rounded it is = 0.33
