What is 10x(8 to the power of 2 thirds)?

-
8 to the power of 2/3 is simply 'the cube root of 8 squared'

Thus it becomes the cube root of 64
which is 4

10 x 4 is 40

-
you need help with english too.

10x*8^(2/3)=
10x*cube root(8)^2
10x*2^2
10x*4
40x

-
x^(a*b) = (x^a)^b

8^(2/3) = (8^(1/3))^2 = (cuberoot of 8)^2 = 2^2
