If 6^(x-1)= 4 then

what is 2^(x-2) * 3^(x+1) = ?

2-)
a= 1+2^x
b= 3-2^-x

what is the value of b in terms of a

6^(x - 1) = 4
6^x = 24

2^x/4 * 3 * 3^x
= 3/4 * 6^x
= 3/4 * 24
= 18

a = 1 + 2^x => 2^x = a - 1
b = 3 - 1/2^x
b = 3 - 1/(a - 1)
b = (3a - 3 - 1)/(a - 1)
b = (3a - 4)/(a - 1)
