I was at the mountain at 2 am today and a dark sort of rectangular shape showed up in the middle of the sky as we looked at the stars, and it dissapeared within a minute, then a few minutes later a bigger dark shape appeared on the south of the sky and it grew bigger taking a weird wavy shape, does anyone know what this is or anyone seen anything like this??

That was Neil DeGrasse Tyson. He was coming down with laryngitis so was trying to save his voice for a later lecture. He didn't want to seem unfriendly and was waving hello. He was disappointed when you didn't wave back. I'll tell him you froze in admiration. That should make him feel better.

well, there might be 3 awnsers to this. 1, did you eat any weird brownies? 2, it was probally just a could in the night sky.3, it might just have been your imaginaion. it may not look like it, but what else is up there? besides birds and aircrafts, nothing unusal.

In a dark mountain location with no lights on the ground a cloud just looks black. Clouds can form and dissipate or move away and it would look like what you describe. So It could just be a clouds.
