There are 2 types of crust and 10 types of toppings.

What is the probability that a customer will order a five topping pizza including onions, jalapenos, and tomatoes?

Let's look at the Numerator ...

3 topping have already been chosen so there are 7Choose2 = 21 ways to pick the other 2 toppings. Since the crust wasn't mentioned, there are also 2 ways to pick the crust.

In total, there are 21 x 2 = 42 ways to make a five topping pizza including onions, jalapenos, and tomatoes

Now, look at the Denominator ...

The denominator is the entire sample space of five topping pizzas. There are 10C5 = 252 ways to pick 5 toppings from 10. There are also 2 types of crust.

In total, the sample space equals 252 x 2 = 504 ways to make a 5 topping pizza.

P = 42 / 504 = 1/12

Hope that helps
