Last one, I promise. If cos^2 x = 1/2, find x. Show work please :)

cos^2 x = 1/2
cos x = +/- sqrt(1 / 2) = +/- sqrt(2) / 2

in the interval [0 , 2pi), these are the pi/4 angles:
x = pi/4 , 3pi/4 , 5pi/4 , or 7pi/4

if you want the general solution, it is x = pi/4 + pi/2 * k
