5.-The simplified equation in slope intercept form is y=2x+2. Your y-intercept is 2 and the slope is 2(Or 2/1 if you prefer it that way). You can graph it from there.......
please help me i cant sketch this graph because the minimum point is negative and i know since its the absolute value it cant go below the x axis

the second graph u see here
http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=y+%3D+%7C2x-5%7C%E2%88%922

please help me , any help is appreciated
thank you

Anything in between the absolute value sign is positive even if the number inside it is negative. so you will go to the right five because remember that you always go the opposite of whats inside the "I I" value . so if it was a positive 5 you would graph to the left 5. but in this case it is a negative 5 so you will graph to the right 5. anything not in the "I I" value will be graph directly as it states so it will be graphed down three.

The vertex is at (2.5, -3). The V-shape profile is open up with a slope of 2 to the right and a slope of -2 to the left of the axis of symmetry x = 2.5.
