For the amino acid sequence -pro-cys-gly-ileu-pro-ser-

Anti-codons as follows:

3' GGA 5 ' -- gly

3' AUU 5' ---ileu

3' UGC 5' ---cys

3' CCG 5' ---pro

3' UCG 5' ----ser

Is it A.) 3' -GGCACGCCTTAAGGCAGC-5'

OR B.) 5' -GGCACGCCTTAAGGCAGC-3'

I think it's B but my teacher says it's A. Who is correct?

Thanks

Sorry my mistake in the earlier question in the anti-codon sequence, I have made it clearer & corrected it.

Your sequence 3' CCG UGC GGA AUU CCG UCG 5'
mRNA.............5' GGC ACG CCU UAA GGC AGC 3'
DNA sense......5' GGC ACG CCT TAA GGC AGC 3'

If you are after the sense strand then B is definitely correct as the direction is 5' 3', which after all is the definition of a sense strand.
