the length of a table is 2 meters correct to the nearest cm. write down:
a) the upper bound
b) the lower bound of the length of the table.
give your answer in meters.

The length of the table lies between 199.5cm and 200.4cm. So
(a) the upper bound is 2.004m and
(b) the lower bound is 1.995m.
