This is U.S gallons though. Imperial gallons is about 7 gallons of water.because 1 pint (1/8th of a gallon) is 568ml or 0.so your almighty gallon is 8 x 0.568 litres which is actually 4.......
My water bill comes in meters (1 meter). I would like to know How many gallons of water are used in my household per month

-
There are 1000 litres in one cubic metre of water.

one litre = 0.22 imperial gallons. 1000 litres = 220 imperial gallons

One litre = 0.26 US gallons. 1000 litres = 264 US gallons

-
You can't convert this because meters measures distance and gallons measures volume. Since you live in the UK I'm assuming you mean liters, right? If so then you use about 8 gallons of water. This is U.S gallons though. Imperial gallons is about 7 gallons of water.

Don't you mean 'litres'
because 1 pint (1/8th of a gallon) is 568ml or 0.568litres
so your almighty gallon is 8 x 0.568 litres which is actually
4.544 litres

You can't turn metres into gallons. Metres measure distance, and gallons volume.
1 gallon= about 4.5 litres
