) All values of B that can be factored: 4x^2 + bx + 36.) Factor: 3x^2 + 4x - 157.) Factor:42n^2 - n - 308.) Factor: 3x^2 - 29x + 18(Thanks for all the help!)-1) okay, Ill try an explain it cuz your gonna have to know it.......
1.) Factor the polynomial: 12y^3 + 33y^2 - 6y

2.)Factor: 5(x - 2) - 9x(x - 2)

3.) Factor: 15x^3 - 6x^2 - 25x + 10

4.) Factor: x^2 + 101x + 100

5.) All values of B that can be factored: 4x^2 + bx + 3

6.) Factor: 3x^2 + 4x - 15

7.) Factor: 42n^2 - n - 30

1) okay, I'll try an explain it cuz your gonna have to know it... so what your gonna wanna do is take the greatest common factor for each seperate number thing...so there 12y^3. 33y^2. 6y. so your gonn have to find a number that goes into all of them, in this case, 3. So pretty much, your gonna divide all of those numbery things by three so now you have 4y^3. 11y^2. 2y. Now for y...the lowest value of y is just y. So your gonna divide by y. So NOW you'll have 4y^2 11y. And 2. Soooooo your answer is 4y^2+11y+2....make sense? So all your gonna wanna do is divide the numbers by the GCF and then the lowest value of y....

2) okay, so I'm guessing you know the distribuative property considering your in algebra right?? So after you do the distribuative property on that equation you get 5x+2-9x^2+18 sooo now your gonna do the same thing as I showed you in the top one...might be a little confusing but it's simple once you get it...

Alll the other questions except for 5 are done the same way as number one...number five is pretty easy actually....your just gonna wanna list numbers that you can substitute for b....an example could be 12,because both 4 and three go into it...so pretty much do b=12 and then whatver other numbers you can come up with. Good luck;)

Thats alot of work to ask some random stranger to do for you on the internet. all you have to do is find the factors for the highest degree and the constant and see which ones you can get to add up or subtract to get the middle factor. for instance problem 6 3x^2 can only be made from 3x times x. and 15 can only be made from 1 x 15 or 3 x 5. and the middle factor is a 4. 3x x 3 = 9x and 1x x 5 = 5x
9x - 5x = 4x and there you have it. therefore your factors will be (3x - 5)(x+3). for problems that are different you should have a formula sheet that all it is is memorization and plug and chug

1.) Factor the polynomial: 12y^3 + 33y^2 - 6y
3y(4y^2 + 11y - 2)

2.)Factor: 5(x - 2) - 9x(x - 2)
(5 - 9x)(x - 2)

3.) Factor: 15x^3 - 6x^2 - 25x + 10
3x^2(5x - 2) -5(5x - 2)
(3x^2 - 5)(5x - 2)

4.) Factor: x^2 + 101x + 100
(x + 100)(x + 1)

5.) All values of B that can be factored: 4x^2 + bx + 3
7,8,13.

6.) Factor: 3x^2 + 4x - 15
(3x -5)(x + 3)

7.) Factor: 42n^2 - n - 30
(7x - 6)(6x + 5)

8.) Factor: 3x^2 - 29x + 18
(3x -2)(x - 9)

-
12y³ + 33y² - 6y = 3y(4y² + 11y - 2)
:::::
5(x - 2) - 9x(x - 2) = (5 - 9)(x - 2) = -4(x - 2) = 4(2 - x)
