14+4 is 18 which is more than 12 but less than 30. So there are a couple more numbers you can plug in for y.......
4 more than twice a number isless than the opposite number

abd what is the answer for this?

the sum of two integers is greater than 12 one integer is 10 less than twice the other and there sum is less then 30.

I know the first part transpires to 4 +2x>. But idk what the opposite number part means. The second part is 12< x-10 + 2y >30 so my guess is y = 14 and x = 28 which means the answer is 18?

Actually I made 2 mistakes. The first part is 4+2x<
The second part is 12< x-10 + 2y > 30
But there are multiple answers.
You can plug in 7 for y and get 14, then plug in 14 for x and get 4
14+4 is 18 which is more than 12 but less than 30. So there are a couple more numbers you can plug in for y.
