2. 3y^2 + 51 = 918

Solve by completing the square ; round to the
nearest hundredth, if necessary.

3x^2 + 15x = 108

1. -2w^2 = -134.48
w^2 = 67.24
w=±8.5

2. 3y^2= 867
y^2 = 289
y=±17

3. x^2+5x-36=0
(x+9)(x-4)=0
x= -9,4

1. ±8.5
2. ±17
3. -9,4
