......
3(x-1)>3-5(x+6)

-
3(x - 1) > 3 - 5(x + 6)

It's not much different that solving a regular equation.

=> 3x - 3 > 3 - 5x - 30
=> 3x + 5x > 3 + 3 - 30
=> 8x > -24
=> x > -3

-
3(x-1)>3-5(x+6)

expand the parentheses
beware the minus sign
3x-3>3-5x-30

isolate the variable
3x+5x>3-30+3
2x> -24
x> -12

-
distribute
3x-3>3-5x-30
combine like terms
3x-3>-5x-27
isolate the variable to one side
8x>-24
divide by the coefficient of x noting that if negative need flip the greater than/les than sign
x>-3

sorry edited a few times to correct errors i made

-
just solve like normal eqaution
first expand
3x-3>3-5x-30
3x+5x>3-30+3
8x>6-30
8x>-24
x>-24/8
x>-3
