Why are some people so bad when it comes to mathematics?
I had a friend a long time ago who couldn't count backwards. It makes me wonder why. Is there science behind this?

CarolOklaNola say: Yes, there IS a LOT of science behind this. Some people's verbal skills are higher than their mathematical skills and aptitudes. That does NOT mean they are less I tell I vent or have low IQs. There are MANY types if IQs. Math testing anxiety is REAL, not an excuse. I was a science nerd, but I struggled with math, even when I got over my FEAR of math and changed my attitude.
