the answer comes out as root3 sin(2t)/ sin(t) however, I ended up with -root3 sin(2t)/ -2sint(t) can anyone help......

the answer comes out as
root3 sin(2t)/ sin(t)

however,

I ended up with
-root3 sin(2t)/ -2sint(t)

can anyone help
-------------------------------------------------------

answers:
Ray say: dx/dt = -2sin t

dy/dt = -6sin 2t

dy/dx = (dy/dt) (dt/dx)

dy/dx = (-6sin 2t) (-2sin t)

dy/dx = (3sin 2t) / (sin t)

So have you stated the question correctly ?

rotchm say: If u got the wrong answer, show your steps so we can show u where u erred.

dt/dx = (dy/dt) / (dx/dt)
