had a baby june 21st, and got the depo shot, and the shot made me become very angry and evil & depressed, so the physcyatrist put me on Seroquel XR 150, but it made me very bitchy and angry worst, so he gave me just the regular immideate release Seroquel 25 in the morning, and 100 at 9 pm.
Let me tell you, that 100 mg makes me drool very bad and feel messed up i can't even talk correctly and move good.but i have a bad sleeping disorder, i was prescribed ambien, but my mom stole them from me and took them herself. anyways sorry for the long imput, but the seroquel in the morning 25mg i still do not feel calm, im still bitchy.Should i go back and tell him and get a different antidepressent for depression & to calm me down, or show i just try it and let it work in my system for 30 days? i need something that calms me down and helps with depression. :/ any medications work for you for the same problem??? And plus on top of all this i have bipolar.

You have to go back and see your prescribing Doctor so he/she can stop or alter your medications.
You've just had a baby and it really mucks up your hormones, so this could be adding to the situation, I would say.
Having the Depot shot, which is more hormones, it's no wonder you became a fire breathing dragon.
Our bodies like it when our hormones are all level and nicely controlled. And plays havoc, like a spoilt child, when they are not OK.
So keep this in mind.
100mg of immediate release Seroquel is quit a lot. Most people are bombed out at 50mg! So the Doctor wants you to sleep. But at the same time he is trying to settle your moods.
Personally I think he should be more responsible and slowly increase the night time dose so you don't get these horrid side effects but still get the expected positive effects of the medication.
Seroquel also takes a while for it to settle in your system, so the side effects are easier or less.
