I had an allergic reaction

To xanax, my throat went numb and i had many TINY bumps on my arms.not even a rash. Will it be safe to take it again? Its gone now BUT today i ate whip cream and my throat felt numb. The exact same feeling of when it took the xanax. I still have some bumps, but i always have bumps and itches. Could it of been my imagination? before i took it i was very worried about being allergic to it (anxiety of taking it and having an reaction). So is it safe to take again?

Ask the dealer who 'prescribed' it to you what you should do.

I would say that if you took it you would probably get the same reaction, if you took it alot then you may become desensitized to it and have no reaction at all. However some first allergic reactions are much less dramatic than a follow up one so there is a chance that you could have a much worse reaction. I would recommend asking your doctor first before taking any more just to be safe.

You may have just worried yourself into the allergic reaction to happen, it may have just been anxiety or a panic attack.
