How can some people have hands and feet colder than the air

a classroom) and still have colder hands than the air? It doesnt make sense.-If you actually took the skin temperature of those body parts, youd be surprised to discover that they are still significantly warmer than the surrounding air, unless you are in temperatures that are close to normal body temp. There is no way that hands and feet are 60 degrees.......
I thought most chemical reactions in the body were exothermic, and that muscle use also warms the body. I can't think of anything that happens in the body that would physically cool it. You have sweat that can evaporate and bring you closer to room temperature, and maybe below it, but you don't constantly sweat (and that's not what I'm talking about.) How is it possible for someone comfortable, not sweating, to sit in a room for hours (like, say, a classroom) and still have colder hands than the air? It doesn't make sense.

There is no way that hands and feet are 60 degrees.

They might feel cold relative to your hands that are touching them.

Even colder than that if she knows where to put those feet...

It is partly about expectation. You expect a living breathing person to feel warm. Not so for touching the coffee table or counter top.

this is because due to cold weather blood circulation in body parts are reduced.
As the blood moves through the body ,it absorbs heat in one part to deliver it to another part,
but due to cold weather this circulation is reduced and thus the body parts remain cooler because the heat is not delivered to them in time......its like when you use your perfume, you feel cooler in that part because it absorbs heat from your body and evaporates.....hope i helped you.

If you skin temp of your hands is 80 degrees, that's pretty cold considering a normal temp is 98.6. Just because they feel cold to your touch does not mean they are colder that the surrounding air.

well when I take adderall my hands get freezing cold. Even if Im outside in 90 degree heat they still make me cold
