What would happen if you lost your eyelids

Could you never go to sleep or blink?

Your eyelids protect the eyes from debris and keep them moist.

Every time you blink, your tear ducts and your eyelids work as a team and spread secretions across the entire eye to clean it and keep it moist. While we sleep, our eyelids function to keep our eyes from drying out.

Your eyelashes on the lid also help keep extra debris out of the eye.

So, in short, your eyes would dry up and need to be removed if your lids were removed.

Your eyelids are the body's source for keeping the eyeballs moisturized. So a constant source of moisture would be required, such as lenses.

You would most likely have to get your eyes removed,you're eyes NEED your eyelids,and I don't think they make artificial eyelids so you'd be screwed.

you wouldn't be able to blink. some people can sleep with their eyes open.
