I'm taking hydrocodone and acetaminophen and it says take one every six hr but it didn't do anything my leg is still in pain. Am I. Suppose to wait for the drug to kick in or take 2 the dosege is 5-325 mg tab. Please help. By the way I have torn ligaments in my knee

Here is what you should do: take one tablet, and give it half an hour to work. If it's not adequate, take a second pill. Now you have to wait 6 hours before you can do that again.
The acetaminophen can cause liver problems if you take too much of it.
