I've been asked to solve this quadratic equation and am struggling to do so, I tried using the quadratic formula, but realised there wasn't an 'a' and I can't figure out if it is at all possible to get it into brackets.

Gary, x^2 = 1x^2, so a =1. You should have it from there.
