My obe experience...... why did my bed jump

Ok so a while ago i had and outer body experience while i was sleeping. it didnt hit me to recently that thats what it was. so one night i was sleeping and what i thought was a dream. i was floating over my body watching myself sleep. for a while. for a while i thought it was a dream untill i did some reaserach and discovred it was an outer body experience when my spirit or soul has left my body. i also learned that this happens to 1 in 10 people. i can understand the obe experience and everything. the part that i dont understand is when i woke up my bed litarlly jumped it scared me so much my heart was punding really hard. i can remember this day so clear even now. if any1 has any kind of suggestions of what they think might have caused my ed to jump plz share with me.

maybe that happened when your spirit or soul returned to your body.

i have had an obe as well.. when i was a little kid it would happen a lot! i remember those dreams clearly as well i remember walking to different places and being alone outside on the street and then coming back to find my body sleeping. it's strange indeed. some people can actually control this but i haven't had an obe in a while! and i am glad i haven't.

I used to have those all the time! Your about to fully be asleep, and you dream of falling, and as soon as you're about to hit the ground, your body jumps. It can be about anything though, I had a dream that I was playing in a sprinkler, (I was about 8) and when the water was going to touch me, I jumped and woke up!

Ive had this before, its nothing to be worried about.
Normally happens when you are just starting to go into a deep sleep (15mins roughly asleep).
Its actually just a dream, and the feeling of "Falling" is what wakes you up, your heart will pound in your chest like a 100-drum band! :P

The most exciting is when you are still awake (Barely concious) but you feel like your falling, and you all of a sudden wake up in shock! :P
