What does it mean when there is a dead canarie in front of my door

or it could be just a fluke-There is a superstition thatif you find a dead bird on your doorstep then there will be a death in the family dont worry about it its probably a coincedence some people have their cats bringing dead animals on their doorstep all the time it was a cat or the bird collided with a door or window.-it could still be a cat. Cities still have cats. Or someone could be threatening you. i wouldnt look too much into it unless it happens again........

I opened my front door and there was a dead canarie laying there, and no cats involved, i live in the city. i wanna know what does it mean like a warning or something?
