That is not a correct conversion to metres from miles, but anyway:
4500,000/4800 = 937.5A. current.
(0.0005 x 611,015m) = overall line resistance of 305.5075 ohms.
If loaded so the output at the far end was sufficient to allow the full 4500KW. to be inserted at the generator, V drop along line = (IR) = 937.5 x 305.5075, = 286.4V.
Power loss at end of line = (4800 - 286.4) x 937.5, = 4,231.5W., or 4.2315KW.

pwer lost has heat is voltage * current
for simple resistance (ohms) it is I^2 * R or E^2/R

R depends on distance, area of cable and material properties
the heat in the line is due to I62 R and can be reduced if I is low and E is high
transmit at high voltage to avoid loss and use a t low voyage for safety

some energy is lost IN the generator, some in the transmission line some in each transformer and the useful energy depends on if you are heating , lighting or turning a motor
