What is the afe maximum current for a household circuit

-Not sure there really is one.A current of less than 1 A is more than enough to kill someone, but most mains power supplies can deliver currents of several amps.I dont know what the maximum wiring a household mains circuit could supply; depends on the wiring standards.-There is no safe current from mains electricity - that is a shock from the mains is likely to kill you especially if you are very young or old or in a wet environment . the max current in domestic wiring in UK is 13A +10%.......
I am just confused i don't how to find it, i need it for physics im in Australia by the way.

If you are in Australia the rules are 15 amp maximum for a normal circuit (total loading all points = 3600 W)
and 10 amp maximum from any one point. (2400 W)

A 15 Amp point can be fitted if it is not included in a circuit with other general purpose outlets.

The 15 Amp maximum is based on all the wires being exposed to air on at least one surface so there is heat dissipation and a maximum wire temperature of no more than 75 deg in the worst case scenario.

If any of the wires are covered by insulation the temperatures can rise above the safe maximum and fires can ensue.
