Why can't I get a flame using the Solar Spark lighter (parabolic mirror)

Any help here? I know it sounds retarded that I cant start a fire, but... :o\-You just have to hold it long enough so the the object you are trying to burn reaches its flash point(the minimum temperature of burning).......
I can get things to smoke, and I can get incense to light... But I can't produce a flame on anything, or get a candle to light.

You just have to hold it long enough so the the object you are trying to burn reaches its flash point(the minimum temperature of burning)...i have burnt a newspaper to ashes with a magnifying glass...in case of parabolic mirror light is also focused at a point but with reflection instead of refraction (like magnifying glass)...the principle is the same...just try something whose flashpoint is less like a newspaper or something...lighting a candle will be hard....maybe your parablic mirror is absorbing much of the heat rays...check that too...
