g=-9.0=22-(9.t=22/9.8 = 2.s=22^2 / (2*9.8) = 24.......
A baseball is hit straight up in the air with a speed of 22 m/s. How high does it go? How long is it in the air?

In this problem, v=0, u=22, g=-9.8

v=u-gt
0=22-(9.8) t
t=22/9.8 = 2.24 seconds

-2gs=v^2 - u^2
s=22^2 / (2*9.8) = 24.69 meters
