Both of which cause the circulating level of adrenaline / epi to rise. Not a good thing during a heart attack.......
In other words, what does each drug do on the heart?

Nitro dilates the arteries & allows more blood to reach the affected area.

Morphine has a mild dilatory effect, but also reduces the pain & patient anxiety. Both of which cause the circulating level of adrenaline / epi to rise. Not a good thing during a heart attack.
