h = 0.h = 0.......
a train is running at 20 m/s on a railway line with radius of curvature 40,000 metres. The distance between the two rails is 1.5 metres. For safe running of train the elevation of outer rail over the inner rail is

-
tan θ = v^2/( rg) = 20*20/(40000*9.8)

From this θ = 0.0585
sin θ = 0.0585 = h/1.5

h = 0.00153 m
======================

h = 0.0015m
