What is the magnitude of the electric field at this point?Ans: 2.How do I get there?F = q Ewhere F is the force,E = F/q = 3x10^-4N/1.2x10^-7C = 2500N/C-*thanks!......
Imagine that when you place a point test charge with a magnitude of 120 nC at a certain point in space, you find that it experiences a net force of 0.3 mN. What is the magnitude of the electric field at this point?

Ans: 2.5 kN/C

How do I get there?

-
use the equation

F = q E where F is the force, q the charge and E the electric field

E = F/q = 3x10^-4N/1.2x10^-7C = 2500N/C

*thanks!
