Physics problem, can someone please help?!

per second,beats per second,......
Thre problem says this:

Your microwave oven cooks by agitating water molecules at a frequency of 2.45 gigahertrz(GHz) or 2.45*10^9 Hz. What is the wavelength of the microwaves's electromagnetic radiation in centimeters?

Now I know that you have to use the equation λ=c/f

I got up to this part λ=(3.00*10^8 m/s)/(2.45 Hz)

But then I got confused on the units? How exactly do I make them cancel out if I just want meters and Hz is cycle/second?

Please could you go step by step to show how I would be able to cancel out the units? I would really appreciate the help and I thank you very much in advance :)

λ [m] = c [m/s] / f [1/s], the units are automatically correct

λ = 3E8 [m/s] / 2.45E9 [1/s] = 0.122 m (E8 means x 10^8)

(m/s)/(1/s) = ( m s) / s = m
The unit for frequency is Hz or '..per second', 1/s
beats per second, revolutions per second etc etc
