even nasa said so.-Neb say: Rᵤᵥ - 1/2Rgᵤᵥ + ∧gᵤᵥ = (8πG/c⁴)Tᵤᵥ with u,v = 0,1,2,3-No Bozos say: You couldnt just Google this?......
from which nothing can escape once past its event horizon, not even light.
More gravity results in gravitational time dilation, where time lapses more slowly at a lower (stronger) gravitational potential. .
-
Nicholas say: Gravity is the name we give to the phenomenon that a mass warps space making it appear that it attracts other masses
-
Maria say: the truth is we know what gravity is and how it works (to a certain degree) but we dont really understand WHY it works. even nasa said so.

Gravity is a constant force field that exerts a push on objects that interrupt that field to accelerate those objects towards each other.
-
quantumclaustrophobe say: the force that attracts a body toward the center of the earth, or toward any other physical body having mass. For most purposes Newton's laws of gravity apply, with minor modifications to take the general theory of relativity into account.
-
William say: The force that all objects exert on one another. The less mass an object has, the less gravitational force it will produce to pull on another object.
-
Chris Ancor say: Gravity is the relative shape of space/time due to the presence of mass/energy.
-
Thomas G say: Think of it as a magnet, but it attracts everything.
-
Yorrik say: What goes up must come down.

Nathan H say: It's made of peanuts

RedSoule say: Without giving a proper definition; physics based; by any of Newtons Laws...

This thing called "gravity" is what keeps us on the floor and when we jump vertically upwards, we come back down.

Imagine we are all magnets (like on a fridge) and the centre of the earth (the core) is a massive piece of iron (the fridge we will say)... now, what happens when these two interact? or, are acquainted?
