Andrew Smith say: If you are talking about a small dry cell battery they are designed for an output of perhaps 50 mA.
Very few LED tube lights can run at this. It represents 0.45 W ( half watt)
Most LED tube lights require a few watts so you would need a bigger battery for normal operation.
