Is the universe really endless

[From: ] [author: ] [Date: 11-05-07] [Hit: ]
The expansion itself creates space and time where none has ever existed before.-No it is not endless its just very big because its expanding all the time in the speed of light. But it will stop. Like if you walk straight forward you wont come to an edge same with universe there is no edge but its still not endless by my though.......
or are we trapped in a bottle of darkness with a giant lightbulb we call our sun

I think its endless :) Nobody knows

The universe has been expanding into an infinite amount of emptiness for around 15 billion years. Neither matter nor energy can be created nor destroyed, at least after the initial expansion, so this means the universe will always be finite no matter how much it expands. Time and space only exist inside the universe because nothing exists outside it. It is hard to imagine it can also expand under these circumstances, but it does. The expansion itself creates space and time where none has ever existed before.
