Also you can pick your location from a map.Wally-I use stellarium for glancing at where to find planets, moons, and constellations for my expected observing time. It is user-friendly and visually pleasing for demos and pointing out stuff to classrooms, etc.......
I Believe that Starry Night required too much space for my computer. I hope that helps.

I use stellarium,its free and works well.Also you can pick your location from a map.
