Explain why the plant kingdom is vital to the flow of energy in an ecosystem

animals exploit this stored energy when they eat plants to find the fuel they need for their own growth. Without plants, there would be no food for any land animals, including humans.......
Ive gotten through an entire biology test, and i keep coming back to this one but I just cant seem to come up with decent answer that I can feel good about turning in. Can ya help me out? 10 points best answer- thanks for your time!

photosynthesis~!
-they take energy from the sun and convert it into usable energy that organisms such as us can harness and use, which we then release back into the environment for the carbons, etc. to be recycled
-autotrophs
-rubisco!

Well the plant kingdom are autotrophs as in they are producers and make their own food (chemical energy) using light/solar energy from the sun. The energy is further passed down in the food chain making them a vital aspect of the ecosystem.

Animals cannot make their own food, so they rely on the plant kingdom, animals exploit this stored energy when they eat plants to find the fuel they need for their own growth. Without plants, there would be no food for any land animals, including humans.
