How can fossil bones tell us about past behavior

What kinds of fossil finds and related scientific information would help answer the following questions: What type of groups did the organisms live in? What did they eat? How did they move around? What did they look like? Were they predators or prey?

Seeking some ideas to get me rolling on my biological anthropology paper! Thanks!

Groups - fossils found in nearby areas can show us how close they lived to each other and for what reasons they did this
Movement - are older fossils of the same type located in a different please to newer ones (this shows us how, and at what rate they might have moved)
Looks - self explanatory really
