How do i known if my creams have dangerous ingredients

i am reading the ingredients and i am look out for hydroquinone and steroids and mercury ..but i realized they can be written in thousands of different ways>>> how do i know the different ways it can be written

Then google the ingredients. It's the best way of finding out.
