Bigfoot is the Missing Link

You know how scientist apparently talk about needing to find a missing link between humans and x? My biology teacher said it is bigfoot.
What is the missing link actually?

"Missing link" would have been extinct apes that would connect our lineage with extant ape lineages.

The Leakey family has been finding these extinct ape bone fragments for decades. Your biology teacher isn't qualified to teach biology (nor any other science) since he or she has been living under a rock for the past 60 years and has not caught up.

If bigfoot is proven to exist, the characteristics associated with him would be between human and our ape relatives. He would be the missing link with the evolutionary electing.
