why does wind makes transpiration increase on a plant?

wind is one of the factors that make transpiration increase in plants other than humidity , temperature, sunlight exposure etc.,
when wind blows it carries the water vapor released by the plant with it.. so there is not much vapor present around the plant anymore , hence the plant increases transpiration...
