Well there are two types of B cells.
Memory B cells remember the attacker or virus so next time the body gets invaded they can solve it in a more orderly fashion.
The other type are called Plasma B cells, I forgot their specific job but I know the name !:)
And vaccines inject a small amount of the virus or foreign invader into the body, the imune system kills the small attack and the memory B cells remember the virus so next time that virus enters the body the immune system can kill the attack efficiently.
