?Mass of water = 920gMol NaOH = 2.You have 2.0mol in 920g waterMol in 1000g water = 2.0*1000/920 = 2.174 mol in 1kg solventMolality = 2.......
Chemistry problem????

Take 1 litre of the solution
This has mass = 1000g ( from the density given)
This contains 2 mol NaOH = 40*2g = 80g
Mass of water = 920g
Mol NaOH = 2.0mol
You have 2.0mol in 920g water
Mol in 1000g water = 2.0*1000/920 = 2.174 mol in 1kg solvent
Molality = 2.174m
