022 X 10^23 molecules and each one of those molecules consists of 3 atoms.-I answerd ure otherso check that out but to you mean how many atoms of oxygen are in one mole of oxygen gas?Well oxygen is a diatomic molecule so it is 2 times the number of atoms got it? Check out the equation on ure otherquestion.......
How many SO2 molecules are there in 1 mole sample of SO2 ?
I guess there are 6.022 X 10^23 SO2 molecules.
How many atoms are there in 1 mole sample of SO2 ?
Each particle contains 1atom S and 2 atoms O, so there are 3 atoms/ particle. So the totale atoms are 3 X 6.022 X 10^23 atoms.

Are my answers correct ?
Thanks for yr time

Yup, you got it right. Your other question, the one about the mole of O2, is also right.

Saying one "mole" of something is like saying one "dozen". The only difference is that a dozen = 12 and a mole = around 6.022 X 10^23.

You could say: "How many legs do a dozen of dogs have?"... Since each dog has 4 legs and there are 12 dogs, you multiply 12 x 4. The same applies in this case. You have 6.022 X 10^23 molecules and each one of those molecules consists of 3 atoms.
