1) To what temperature must 30.0 grams of propane be heated in a 250.0 mL container in order for it to exert a pressure of 400? kPa?

2) A balloon containing 0.50 L of gas is released into the air and is carried up 0.75 miles where its volume is measured as 0.85 L. Assuming an initial standard temperature and no pressure change, what was the temperature at its peak?

3) On what 2 factors does the heat capacity of an object depend?

4) How does the quantity of heat absorbed by a melting solid compare to the quantity of heat released when the liquid solidifies?

5) What thermochemical changes can occur when a solution form?

If you can answer Any one of these questions, it would greatly be appreciated! =]

1.) use PV=nRT
Given: P, V, R, n
R=gas constant 8.3145
n=number of moles of propane. 30g/molecular weight of propane=number of moles
Make sure everything is in the correct units. Liters, Pa, Kelvin

2. not sure

3. Mass and chemical makeup....but not sure https://chemistry.twu.edu/tutorial/HeatCapacitySum.html

4. no clue.. are they the same?

5. sorry way to vague.
