What procedure would you use to separate the three components in a mixture of sand (SiO2), KCl, and water

it would be like going shopping in a space ship,to separate first filter off the sand over whatman filter, the distill the water out of the filtrate, the KCl is the residue very deliquescent.......
I think the answer is chromatography, but am not sure... other options are filtration or fractional distallation. Whatever the answer is, please briefly describe it and why it would be used. If the answer is chromatography, say what type too (i.e. paper chromatography or column chromatography).
