What is the average surface area of a filling station

in other words, you seem to be going at it back assward.......
..it's for my design project...thanks for yr answers...

there is no real average. It depends very much on the situation. How many pumps, how many islands, do you include the building, is it a modern construction or not, how far away are you placeng the tanks from the islands, do you have a separate diesel fuel island or not, and so on. Is it a public or private fuel area?

But you can fit a decent filling station into 1000 square meters (say 20x50m) easily.

I would think for your design project you would need to set aside the space for the various infrastructures and decide your minimum required size rather than start with a size and try to cram it all in. in other words, you seem to be going at it back assward.
