HOW SERIOUS ARE MAN MADE GLOBAL CHANGES

[From: ] [author: ] [Date: 12-04-01] [Hit: ]
If we fail to act immediately, the continents will eventually collide, as predicted by many scientists, but at a much higher rate of speed because of man made travel methods. I have already worked out a way to sell traction credits to the trucking industry and to those who contribute to this increase by making one way trips in their cars. I am also planning on a documentary entitled An Inconvenient Trip.......
Let me assure you that global warming is the least of our problems.
You see, I have recently discovered that the rate of "continental drift" is speeding up due to the increased amount of traction from all the automobile tires on the earths freeways. I am in the process of creating a "hockey stick" graph to illustrate this. If we fail to act immediately, the continents will eventually collide, as predicted by many scientists, but at a much higher rate of speed because of man made travel methods. I have already worked out a way to sell "traction credits" to the trucking industry and to those who contribute to this increase by making one way trips in their cars. I am also planning on a documentary entitled "An Inconvenient Trip".
I really feel that I can make a lot of money off my discovery while, at the same time, helping to save mankind from the calamity of a high speed Continental collision.
I have good reason to believe that I can gain the support of most liberals in this matter, in spite of any skepticism by conservatives.

I give you the best question award for all the questions I've seen. Good Luck! Send some of that money my way. Or can I buy into this one, I was too late for global warming and the ozone hole scams.

Cars put the traction on roads, which do nothing to the earth. If you wanted the traction to be an issue, it would have to be a *HUGE* wheel, dug several hundred feet into the earth so a hydroplaning effect would not occur, and then you *might* get somewhere.
