you are referring to
i = sqrt (-1)
I presume
i^1 = i
i^2= -1
i^3=i^2 i = -i
i^4=i^2 i^2 = (-1) (-1) = 1
i^5=i^4 i =i
and so on...see the pattern ?
so to find i^325 we need to see if 324 is divisible by 4 evenly
324 = 4 x 81 so that means
i^324 = 1 and
i^325=i^324 i = i
